Administrative Operations Manager

Solomon Brothers is looking for an Administrative Operations Manager to keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a critical operations role that combines inventory management, repair coordination, merchandise movement, quality control, and day-to-day operational support. The person in this position serves as the organizational backbone of the store, helping ensure that inventory is accurate, repairs are moving, customers are taken care of, and nothing falls through the cracks.

The most important qualification for this position is temperament. We are looking for someone who can stop what they are doing, switch priorities, solve an immediate problem, and return to the original task without losing accuracy, organization, or composure. This is a fast-moving environment where interruptions are constant, and the ability to adapt while staying organized is essential.

What You'll DoRepair Management & Quality Control

• Manage the repair intake and fulfillment process from start to finish
• Inspect jewelry and repairs when they are dropped off and completed
• Route work appropriately and track jobs throughout the process
• Maintain accurate records of work in progress
• Verify completed repairs meet company standards before returning to customers
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for repair organization and quality control

Inventory & Merchandise Coordination

• Manage inventory and supplies for the repair shop
• Partner with the jeweler to ensure necessary materials are always available
• Coordinate merchandise movement between the back office and sales floor
• Communicate with sales professionals regarding incoming and outgoing merchandise
• Maintain organization and accuracy across multiple inventory workflows

Operations & Customer Experience

• Oversee customer hospitality and store amenities
• Manage gift wrapping, beverages, candy, and customer experience supplies
• Ensure kitchen and hospitality areas remain organized and stocked
• Provide operational support wherever needed to help the store function efficiently
• Assist with special projects and day-to-day operational needs

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Technologically confident and comfortable learning new systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Prior experience in operations, inventory management, administration, logistics, project coordination, retail operations, or similar fields is preferred
