Job Overview
The Regional Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving the operational excellence, financial success, and franchisee satisfaction of Elite Produce kiosks located within grocery stores and other host locations.
This role manages retail partner relationships as well as multiple franchise owners to optimize kiosk operations, ensure compliance with brand standards, foster franchisee development, and drive revenue growth.
The Regional Manager operates with substantial autonomy and exercises independent judgment on business decisions affecting franchise operations, compliance actions, client relationships, and regional strategic planning.
Travel across the assigned region is extensive, with national travel for special initiatives, store openings, training or leadership conferences.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the activities of the franchisee kiosk operations team
- Implement training programs and ensure that franchise owners adhere to company standards and procedures
- Coordinate and communicate with HR on National Training Specialists onboarding, timekeeping, termination or conflict resolution (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales reports and statements to identify trends and implement strategies that improve financial performance
- Attend sales meetings and provide accurate reports on key discussions, performance, and action items
- Conduct store walks with the franchisees and review operational logs, stock levels, and temperature records driving franchisee accountability for maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance standard
- Support store recruitment, new store openings within or outside assigned region while ensuring strong relationships with store managers, retail partners and franchisees
- Recruit and supervise local chefs and franchisees, manage menu operations until the franchisee assumes full responsibility and manage operational contingencies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned region, providing operational support, addressing inquiries, coordinating cross-functional communication, and building strong relationships with franchisees and key stakeholders to ensure consistent business performance
- Champion initiatives to drive regional sales growth and ensure franchisee orders consistently meet established sales targets
- Conduct compliance audits and provide guidance on Steritech audit requirements to ensure adherence to operational, food safety, and quality standards
- Review and optimize business procedures and daily operations to improve efficiency, ensure safe and compliant work environments, and enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvements to policies and operational processes

Required Skills/Abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of fresh retail business and finance concepts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient managerial and diplomacy capabilities
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in retail or fresh produce business
- Candidates should either possess the ServSafe Manager Certification upon joining or acquire it within an agreed timeframe post-hire
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking and travelling
- Able to lift to 25 pounds, especially when handling produce crates
- Regular travel within the assigned region, with occasional national trips
Work Environment
- Dynamic retail environment with a strong emphasis on fresh produce quality and safety
- Regular visits to franchise locations, interacting with staff, observing operations, and possibly handling produce directly
