We are working with a leading organisation to appoint an Arabic-speaking Director of Communications, a senior, high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive communications strategy across a diverse portfolio of brands.
This is an opportunity for an exceptional communicator (in both Arabic and English) who is a strategic thinker, to lead a talented team, drive corporate reputation, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. The successful candidate will oversee internal and external communications, media relations, executive visibility, employee engagement, and brand narrative.
Key Responsibilities of the Communications Director
Lead the development and implementation of a communications strategy across internal and external channels.
Build and protect corporate reputation through proactive storytelling, media engagement, and strategic positioning.
Oversee corporate messaging, press releases, statements, and talking points for senior leadership.
Oversee internal communications to strengthen culture, alignment, and engagement across all entities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and editorial teams on media engagement and issues management.
Supervise and mentor a team of communications professionals, providing strategic guidance and quality oversight.
Skills and Experience Required
Extensive experience in strategic communications, preferably within a complex, multi-brand environment.
Proven record of delivering impactful communications strategies in both English and Arabic.
Deep understanding of the media landscape in the UAE and wider MENA region.
Experience managing teams and engaging with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Extensive experience in strategic communications, preferably within a complex, multi-brand environment.
Proven record of delivering impactful communications strategies in both English and Arabic.
Deep understanding of the media landscape in the UAE and wider MENA region.
