The role goes beyond basic room cleaning by combining housekeeping service, guest request handling, stock management, public area care, and quality checks.

In a busy Dubai hotel setting, this position helps protect brand standards, improve guest satisfaction, and support smooth hotel operations through reliable hands-on service.

Key Responsibilities * Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring beds, bathrooms, furniture, floors, and amenities are presented professionally.* Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of public spaces, corridors, service areas, and assigned hotel zones.* Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, including extra amenities, room supplies, towels, bedding, or related housekeeping needs.* Stock housekeeping carts with linens, cleaning products, guest supplies, and required room amenities before and during shifts.* Inspect assigned areas while working and correct cleanliness or presentation issues without waiting for repeated instructions.* Handle used linen, waste, and cleaning materials safely while following hygiene, safety, and hotel operating procedures.* Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, lost property, safety hazards, or unusual room conditions to the appropriate team.* Follow company policies, confidentiality rules, quality standards, and service procedures at all times.* Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, communication style, and guest-facing attitude throughout the shift.* Support team members during high occupancy, urgent guest requests, room turnover periods, and operational pressure points.* Use approved cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment correctly to protect guests, associates, and hotel property.* Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds when required for daily housekeeping duties.* Remain active during the shift by standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying out hands-on cleaning responsibilities.* Complete reasonable job duties requested by supervisors to support guest satisfaction and hotel business needs.* Contribute to a safe workplace by observing hazards, following safe work practices, and supporting a clean working environment.

Ideal Profile * Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, room attendant work, public area cleaning, laundry support, or hospitality operations is preferred.* Good understanding of room cleanliness, guest comfort, hygiene standards, and hotel presentation requirements.* Ability to work on feet for extended periods and complete physical housekeeping tasks with care and consistency.* Comfortable handling cleaning supplies, stocking carts, organizing linen, and moving required items during the shift.* Strong attention to detail with the ability to notice cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation issues.* Positive guest service attitude with polite communication and a professional approach to requests.* Ability to follow instructions, company policies, quality standards, safety rules, and confidentiality requirements.* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a housekeeping team in a fast-paced hotel environment.* Willingness to support different areas of the hotel, including rooms, public spaces, corridors, and service zones.* Able to work full-time at Palm West Beach, Palm Jumeirah Road, Dubai.
