Warehouse Supervisor

Role Description

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, reporting, and coordination tasks.

Key responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, organizing material handling activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating shipping and receiving schedules. The Warehouse Supervisor will implement safety and quality standards, optimize space utilization, and resolve operational issues in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing regular status reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse function.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess experience in shipping & receiving and inventory control to manage inbound and outbound logistics accurately.
• Candidates should possess material handling expertise and familiarity with warehouse workflows and safety procedures.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in forklift operation and the safe use of warehouse equipment, where applicable and licensed.
• Candidates should possess good communication and coordination skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse or inventory management systems.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision or a related role, and relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse operations, are beneficial.
