About The Role

Packing Associates are responsible for moving, sorting, vacuum-sealing, and packaging goods in our food processing kitchen and warehouse.COMPENSATION: $23.75/hourThe base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Range is not inclusive of potential bonus or benefits.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequently needs to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather coldRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focusMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.

Constantly exposed to both hot and cold temperature conditions is pertinent.

Follows all safety procedures, uses restaurant safety words during all shifts, and asks for assistanceas neededMust practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoidinjury:

• Cutting gloves when cutting
• Back support belt when lifting heavy items
• Goggles and long gloves when working with chemicals
• Other PPE as needed (if applicable)
