Project Coordinator

Project CoordinatorLocation: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)Employment Type: Full-TimeOverview The Project Coordinator supports the Business Program Management (BPM) team in the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional programs and projects.

Working closely with a Senior Program and/or Project Manager, this role plays a key part in project governance, coordination, and change management alignment to ensure consistent and effective project delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution Support
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, requirements, resources, and deliverables
• Support execution activities to help keep projects on track and aligned with objectives
• Schedule & Timeline Management
• Track project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure accurate and up-to-date timelines
• Identify potential risks to timelines and escalate issues proactively
• Risk & Issue Management
• Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Support development of mitigation strategies and track resolution of issues
• Communication & Coordination
• Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors
• Support regular project communications through meetings, status updates, and reporting
• Resource Coordination
• Assist with task assignments and resource tracking
• Help ensure availability of necessary resources, tools, and materials
• Administrative Support, Documentation & Reporting
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key outcomes, action items, and decisions
• Maintain project documentation and BPM content in SharePoint and project management tools (e.g., Wrike)
• Prepare dashboards and status reports for stakeholders and leadership
• Quality Assurance
• Support quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards
• Coordinate review and approval workflows
• Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Provide regular updates and help manage stakeholder expectations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with SharePoint preferred
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Wrike, MS Project, MS Planner, Jira, or similar preferred
• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment is a plus
