SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have)

✔️ 6+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software engineering

✔️ Hands-on experience testing mobile applications and services natively on iOS and Android

✔️ Experience validating and testing software applications and services across macOS and Windows platforms

✔️ Proven track record of automating functional and integration testing across Web, iOS, macOS, and backend layers

✔️ Technical proficiency in core programming, scripting, and data languages: Java, Python, Unix/Shell, and SQL

✔️ Strong command of core QA automation architecture, frameworks, and modern industry-standard testing tools

✔️ Foundational knowledge of front-end technologies and data formats, including CSS, HTML, and XML

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Software QE Engineer for a high-priority, fully onsite engagement in Austin, TX. This critical role demands a comprehensive quality engineer capable of executing both automated and specialized functional testing across a diverse ecosystem, including iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and backend services.

The ideal architect brings a strong automation mindset paired with technical proficiency in Java and Python. Operating within a fast-paced environment, the incumbent will ensure absolute platform reliability, drive end-to-end integration validations, and work closely with cross-functional product teams under tight delivery timelines.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️ Design, build, and maintain robust test automation architectures to execute high-quality functional and integration testing across Web, mobile, desktop, and backend layers

✔️ Execute rigorous cross-platform testing across mobile ecosystem environments (iOS & Android) and desktop operating systems (macOS & Windows)

✔️ Leverage Java, Python, and Unix/Shell scripting to automate test scenarios, optimize test coverage, and scale continuous integration workflows

✔️ Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend database integrity, data processing layers, and end-to-end service layers

✔️ Collaborate directly with engineering and product partners to analyze technical specifications, isolate software bottlenecks, and resolve defects in a rapid-deployment agile cycle

✔️ Deliver meticulously documented test plans, coverage metrics, and automation execution reports to leadership under strict delivery milestones
