Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed AI and data platform company helping large enterprise customers make more confident, evidence-based business decisions.
The company has strong enterprise traction, significant funding, and a highly technical team working on advanced AI, data, infrastructure, and analytics challenges. As the company scales, they are building a modern, secure, and automated corporate IT function to support employees, engineering teams, and business operations.
StratITech is seeking a hands-on Corporate IT Engineer / Corporate IT Manager to own corporate IT end to end as the company grows.
This is a broad, foundational role for someone who can make sure the company’s people, devices, identity systems, SaaS tools, and internal technology operations run smoothly. The right person will be both service-oriented and engineering-minded — someone who can solve today’s support needs while building the systems, documentation, automation, and processes that prevent the same issues from recurring.
This role is part hands-on IT, part systems administration, part automation, and part cross-functional operations. You will own employee onboarding and offboarding, endpoint management, identity and access management, SaaS administration, internal support, IT process improvement, vendor coordination, and security-conscious operational practices.
What You’ll DoOwn the employee IT lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, account setup, access changes, and access removal.
Administer core SaaS, identity, directory, and productivity systems, including SSO, MFA, MDM, Google Workspace, and related business tools.
Manage endpoint lifecycle processes, including procurement, provisioning, deployment, support, inventory, maintenance, and retirement of laptops and mobile devices.
Support and optimize endpoint management platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, Intune, MDM solutions, or similar tools.
Serve as the first line of internal IT support, then turn recurring issues into documentation, self-service workflows, automation, and better systems.
Build scalable IT processes for incidents, service requests, access requests, onboarding, offboarding, change management, and asset management.
Partner with Engineering and Security to keep endpoints, networks, access systems, and internal tooling reliable, compliant, and secure.
Script and automate repetitive IT workflows, including provisioning, reporting, routine fixes, access reviews, and operational tasks.
Maintain IT asset inventories, software licensing records, access records, and system documentation.
Support SOC 2, vendor security reviews, audits, access reviews, and compliance-related initiatives.
Own or support relationships with technology vendors, service providers, SaaS partners, and managed service partners.
Partner with Finance on IT budgets, software spend, procurement, renewals, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Evaluate, implement, and optimize internal business systems as the company scales.
Communicate IT priorities, risks, project status, and outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5+ years of experience in Corporate IT, IT Engineering, Systems Administration, IT Operations, Infrastructure, Technical Operations, or a related role.
Experience owning or significantly contributing to IT operations in a fast-growing company.
Strong hands-on experience with identity and device management, including SSO, MFA, user lifecycle management, access controls, and endpoint administration.
Experience with Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Kandji, Intune, MDM platforms, or similar enterprise IT systems.
Comfort administering common SaaS tools and business applications used across a modern technology company.
Strong understanding of endpoint provisioning, asset management, software deployment, laptop support, and endpoint security.
Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, access requests, employee support, and internal service workflows.
Comfort scripting and automating repetitive work using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools.A security-conscious mindset and strong attention to detail around access, devices, data, and company systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and technical environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or related infrastructure.
Experience partnering with Engineering and Security teams in a technical organization.
Ability to document processes, create self-service resources, and turn recurring support issues into scalable solutions.
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting employees and stakeholders.
These Skills Are a PlusExperience building or scaling IT operations in a startup or high-growth technology company.
Experience supporting AI, data, analytics, infrastructure, research, or engineering-focused organizations.
Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar compliance frameworks.
Experience with vendor security reviews, audits, access reviews, security questionnaires, and compliance evidence collection.
Experience with ITSM tools, ticketing systems, asset management platforms, service catalogs, or internal support workflows.
Experience with infrastructure automation, SaaS automation, API integrations, or workflow automation tools.
Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, AWS, Google Cloud, Okta, Jamf, or related disciplines are a plus.
Is Right for You IfYou like owning IT end to end and being the person who makes sure people, devices, access, and tools just work.
You enjoy being the go-to fixer today, but you are equally motivated to build systems that make repeat issues go away tomorrow.
You are hands-on, practical, and comfortable working directly with employees, systems, vendors, and internal tools.
You have engineering instincts and enjoy scripting, automating, documenting, and improving how work gets done.
You care about security, least privilege, clean access, reliable systems, and strong operational habits.
You are excited to shape the IT function rather than inherit a fully built-out process.
Why This Opportunity May Be ExcitingOwn and shape the corporate IT function for a high-growth, venture-backed technology company.
Build, don’t just maintain — you will have the freedom and expectation to automate manual work and design systems that scale.
Support a highly technical team working on advanced AI, data, analytics, and infrastructure challenges.
Partner closely with Engineering and Security in a fast-moving technical environment.
Help engineers, researchers, operators, and business teams stay productive, secure, and unblocked.
Join a company with strong enterprise traction, significant funding, meaningful equity potential, and proven product-market fit.
ProfileThe ideal candidate is a hands-on corporate IT leader or IT engineer who has owned, built, or scaled internal IT operations in a fast-growing technology company.
