Financial Analyst - Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Support

Position Summary

Pantheon is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide advanced data analytics, business intelligence, executive reporting, and financial decision support to one of our Navy customers.

The analyst will support the Government's Data Analytics branch by integrating financial and programmatic data, developing dashboards and recurring reports, and producing timely, accurate analysis that enhances decision-making across the organization.

The successful candidate will support financial execution, resource management, and operational performance by collecting, validating, analyzing, and visualizing data from multiple Government financial and business systems.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to transform financial and programmatic data into actionable insights through dashboards, visualization tools, predictive analytics, and executive reporting products to enable data-driven decision making for one of our Navy clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and business intelligence products.
• Analyze financial, acquisition, workforce, and program execution data.
• Create automated reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, Power Platform, or similar tools.
• Develop metrics and performance indicators supporting executive decision-making.
• Collect, integrate, validate, and analyze financial and programmatic data from multiple Government systems including PBIS, N-ERP, G-Invoicing, and other authorized data sources to improve reporting efficiency and visibility.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and business intelligence products supporting financial execution, resource management, and operational performance.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial and operational data.
• Analyze trends, variances, and performance metrics to identify issues, opportunities, and emerging risks affecting program execution.
• Prepare executive briefing materials, charts, graphics, and analytical products supporting leadership decision-making.
• Apply established data governance standards, business rules, and reporting methodologies to ensure consistent and reliable analytical products.
• Support process improvement initiatives through automation, standardized reporting, and improved data visualization techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years supporting financial analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, Excel, Power Query, or similar analytics tools.
• Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, recurring reports, and executive-level data visualizations.
• Strong analytical and visualization skills.
• Knowledge of Navy financial systems preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
