Financial Planning Analyst

FP&A AnalystFTSE Listed Property Group12 Month FTCCentral London / Hybrid (4 days in office)Salary: £65,000 + benefits (pro rata) A high-profile FTSE-listed property business is recruiting an FP&A Analyst to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a commercial role with strong exposure to senior decision makers, focused on budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and insight to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Working as part of a high-performing group team, the successful candidate will support key planning cycles, including the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts and longer-term strategic forecast. The role sits at the centre of the business and works closely with teams across Finance, Investment, Strategy and Real Estate, helping produce analysis and materials for the CFO, Executive Committee and Board.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of the 5-year strategic forecast , working closely with Strategy, Investment and Property Analysis teams
• Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting cycle, coordinating inputs across multiple areas of the business
• Own elements of the corporate forecasting model and help improve forecasting outputs
• Perform scenario analysis to assess the financial and strategic implications of business decisions
• Prepare finance papers, management information and high-quality analysis for the CFO, Executive Committee and Board
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast, including investment, leasing, treasury and wider business activity
• Provide insight to support and challenge commercial decisions across the business
• Forecast and monitor key financial risk metrics
• Support ad hoc strategic and analytical projects
• Help improve budgeting, forecasting and analysis processes, including use of AI and other tools where appropriate
• The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong modelling skills, commercial instinct and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• They are likely to have trained in a top accounting firm and have the ability to work in an FP&A, strategic finance or a commercially focused finance role.
• Strong Excel skills, analytical capability and confidence working with data from multiple sources will be important.
