As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping clients solve complex challenges.

What You'll Do

• Develop and grow strategic relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities across engineering, systems integration, construction, and maintenance service lines.
• Manage a disciplined sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Lead business development efforts from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop technical solutions that meet client needs.
• Coordinate proposal development and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
• Represent L.L. Blue Engineering at client meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry events.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to support market research, account planning, pipeline management, and proposal development.
• Provide leadership with accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence.

• Has experience developing long-term client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Enjoys identifying opportunities and creating strategic growth initiatives.
• Understands the importance of CRM discipline and pipeline management.
• Communicates effectively with technical teams, executive leadership, and clients.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple departments.
• Embraces technology and sees AI as a tool that improves productivity and enhances client service.
• Takes initiative and enjoys building something meaningful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7–12 years of business development, account management, or technical sales experience.
• Experience within engineering, industrial services, systems integration, manufacturing, utilities, or related technical industries preferred.
• Proven success growing existing accounts and developing new business.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
• Proposal development experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to client sites and industry events.
