Role Description

The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in any of these areas: New Jersey; New York City, Connecticut, Milwaukee, San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and more with flexibility for Hybrid working.

This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promoting Employee Engagement Services. Day-to-day tasks include generating leads, conducting outreach and sales meetings, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining an active sales pipeline.

The Business Development Manager will collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to align client needs with available talent and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, reporting on sales activity, and contributing to strategic planning to support market expansion.

Qualifications

• Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, with experience building and maintaining client relationships.
• Background in staffing, recruiting, HR services, or professional services business development is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Solid organizational, time management, and pipeline management skills, including proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, including the capacity to identify market opportunities and contribute to growth plans.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site client interaction in Philadelphia, PA with remote responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset, with a focus on ethical and inclusive business practices.
