The Sales Executive – LTL & FTL will play a key role in driving business growth by acquiring new customers and expanding the company's Less-than-Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) transportation business.
This role involves identifying business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, preparing competitive logistics solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-focused, and possesses strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities

- Business Development
- Identify and acquire new customers requiring LTL and FTL transportation services.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and business opportunities.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, traders, and other key stakeholders.
- Understand customer transportation requirements and recommend suitable logistics solutions.
- Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and relationship management activities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive account management.

- Sales & Account Management
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing, contracts, and service agreements with customers.
- Coordinate with the pricing and operations teams to develop competitive and profitable logistics solutions.
- Monitor market freight rates and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through customer onboarding and account growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional logistics services.

- Customer Service & Operations Coordination
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation services.
- Resolve customer issues related to deliveries, transit times, service quality, and operational concerns in a timely manner.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and maintain strong communication throughout the service lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.

- Sales Reporting & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Track customer acquisition, sales pipeline, revenue performance, and achievement against targets.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business planning and sales strategy development.

Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience:3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or key account management within the logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven experience in selling LTL and FTL transportation services is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of LTL, FTL, transportation operations, freight pricing, and supply chain solutions.
- Ability to analyze market trends and prepare commercial proposals.
