Role Description

The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, accurate reservations handling, and a consistently positive guest experience. This full-time on-site role, based in Uttarakhand, India, includes supervising front office team members, organizing shift schedules, and supporting staff in addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

The supervisor monitors reception activities, maintains up-to-date records, coordinates with housekeeping and other departments, and ensures adherence to resort policies and standards. The role also involves training front office employees, reviewing performance, and supporting continuous improvement in customer service and operational processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties capabilities, such as managing check-in/check-out, handling phone calls, and maintaining front desk organization.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, focusing on guest satisfaction, issue resolution, and professional interaction.
• Candidates should possess Reservations experience, including booking management, system updates, and coordination with other departments.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests, team members, and management.
• Relevant experience in front office or hospitality operations, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and hotel management or reservation software is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
