Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Specialist to serve as the backbone of our US expansion team. In this role, you will be the primary execution engine, turning vision into reality by taking retail projects from contract handover to the final ribbon-cutting ceremony.

You will act as the vital bridge between our Korea HQ design team and US local execution, managing contractors, analyzing construction details, and ensuring that every store opening is a masterclass in brand execution. Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Execution: Own and execute mid-to-large-scale store opening projects across the US from contract signing to final handover to the retail operations team.
• HQ Design Localization: Collaborate closely with the Korea HQ design team to adapt and implement global design concepts into the US context, refining fixture and signage details for flawless on-site execution.
• Vendor & Construction Management: Prepare execution plans, vet/select architects and General Contractors (GC), manage bidding processes, and oversee full on-site construction (timeline, quality, safety, cost).
• Fixture & Asset Logistics Management: Oversee the importation, installation, and custom fitting of Korea-fabricated fixtures and specialized brand elements.
• Vendor Pool Cultivation: Build, manage, and evaluate a robust pool of regional architects, contractors, and preferred vendors to ensure organizational agility.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail interior project management.
• US Market Track Record: Direct experience executing commercial/retail build-outs within the US market (multi-site experience preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong technical proficiency in 2D/3D software (AutoCAD, SketchUp) and reading construction documents.
• Language Skills: Bilingual in Korean and English (required for HQ design team collaboration).
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically (up to 30-40%).
• Physical Demands & Flexibility: Ability to stand, walk, and move around retail stores and warehouse environments for extended periods; capability to occasionally lift or move items up to 50 lbs. Must understand and accept that work schedules, hours, and locations may vary based on retail store operational and development requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Rapid Expansion Experience: Prior experience in fast-paced store rollouts, cosmetics/beauty retail, or flagship store openings within a rapidly growing global brand.
• Local Permitting Knowledge: Familiarity with local US state/city building codes, ADA compliance, and building permit/zoning application processes.
• Vendor Network Support: Experience coordinating with local general contractors, localized millwork/fixture vendors, and permitting expediters across multiple states.
• Cost & Bidding Management: Practical experience in reviewing contractor bidding documents, conducting cost estimations, and managing construction expense sheets.
