Product Manager

Role Overview

We’re partnering with a global payments organisation to find an experienced Product Manager (eCommerce) to join a high-performing team delivering innovative payment solutions for a major Australian financial services organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to own product strategy and roadmap initiatives delivering seamless eCommerce payment experiences for merchants while driving commercial growth.

In this role you'll

Own the product roadmap for your area of the platform, informed by merchant feedback, competitive insights, scheme roadmaps and commercial opportunities.

Drive product strategy that differentiates the platform within the Australian eCommerce payments market.

Lead continuous product discovery using customer research, experimentation and data to validate product decisions and reduce delivery risk.

Champion the merchant experience by leveraging customer journey mapping, user research and feedback to shape product priorities.

Translate commercial opportunities into product investments that drive merchant activation, transaction growth and revenue outcomes.

Collaborate across Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, Go-to-Market, Sales Enablement and Customer teams to successfully deliver product initiatives.

Navigate a highly regulated environment, ensuring solutions meet scheme obligations, PCI requirements and regulatory standards.

What we're looking for

• Proven Product Management experience (at least 4/5 years) within Payments, eCommerce, Banking or FinTech.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end online payments lifecycle, from checkout through authorisation, clearing and settlement.
• Strong knowledge of payment schemes including Visa, Mastercard, eftpos and American Express, with experience across tokenisation, 3D Secure and interchange.
• Experience working with payment gateways, acquirers, processors or payment orchestration platforms.
• Strong product management capability across roadmap ownership, discovery, prioritisation, experimentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Customer-first mindset, using research, analytics and merchant feedback to drive product decisions.
• Experience working within regulated environments and collaborating across multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Comfortable leveraging AI and data-driven insights to support product decision-making and delivery.
