Job Description

We’re looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing cloud engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in automation-driven environments, building scalable infrastructure, and improving how software is delivered and operated.

You’ll play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing AWS-based platforms, while driving best practices across CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Cloud
• Formation
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Automate operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Monitor and maintain system health using logging and observability tools
• Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps practices and deployment processes
• Implement cloud security controls and best practices

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker;
• Kubernetes desirable)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPCs)
• Operations & Delivery
• Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting issues
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud
• Watch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Desirable
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS)
• Exposure to DevOps best practices and Git
• Ops
• AWS certifications (Associate level or above)
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
