Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will play a key leadership role in driving regional marketing strategy, supporting business development initiatives, and strengthening the firm's brand presence.

This individual will lead a team of marketing professionals while partnering closely with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives, oversee marketing operations, and leverage market intelligence to support continued growth and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and career growth.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention efforts to build and maintain a high-performing marketing team.
• Partner with business development and operational leaders to support growth initiatives, enhance client relationships, and strengthen market positioning.
• Oversee the development and review of marketing materials, proposals, and communications to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain and promote a cohesive brand identity across all internal and external communications.
• Conduct market, client, and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement regional marketing plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Support long-term strategic planning by providing market intelligence and recommendations for future growth opportunities.
• Monitor industry, legislative, and regulatory developments that may impact target markets, clients, or service offerings.
• Partner with marketing leaders across multiple offices to drive best practices, process improvements, and organizational consistency.
• Analyze marketing performance metrics, proposal outcomes, and business development data to evaluate effectiveness and guide future strategies.
• Manage team resources, project prioritization, and workload distribution to ensure deadlines and business objectives are achieved.
• Foster an innovative, team-oriented environment that encourages creativity, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with department leadership to establish goals, improve processes, develop training initiatives, and enhance overall marketing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience within the A/E/C industry or a professional services environment.
• Proven proposal writing experience required.
• Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and proposal tracking systems.
• Active participation in industry organizations and events, with the ability to build professional networks and stay informed on industry trends.
• Strong understanding of business operations, including financial performance, strategic goals, policies, and procedures.
