Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities | * Manage the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing. | * Review and verify accounting records and reports. | * Analyze trades profitability and financial performance. | * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS | * Monitor inventory, shipments, and stock movements. | * Verify purchasing activities, supplier invoices, and operational costs. | * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports. | * Identify unusual expenses, financial risks, and opportunities for cost optimization. | * Provide accurate financial insights and recommendations directly to management. | * Work closely with the existing accounting team while maintaining independent reporting to the owners. | Requirements | * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. | * Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing. | * Experience in commodity trading, international trading, logistics, or import/export businesses is highly preferred. | * Demonstrated experience managing year-end audits and working directly with external auditors. | * Experience handling company license renewals, regulatory compliance, and government-related documentation in the UAE. | * Strong analytical and reporting skills. | * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP mandatory). | * ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred. | * Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage | We are looking for someone who: | * Thinks analytically, not just operationally. | * Understands inventory control and cost management. | * Is capable of providing independent financial reports directly to management.
