WIILMA seeks a creative, strategic volunteer to develop and co-lead the growth of a dynamic Volunteer film/photography team.

By creating high-quality, professional documentaries and photo stories, you are not just documenting events; you are building evidence of our impact, which directly helps change minds , policy and will assist in attracting funding, partnerships, and further volunteers.
This role supports our core mission of amplifying voices of marginalised communities, cohesion and promoting equity. We believe that everyone deserves to experience high-quality arts and culture, regardless of their seen or unseen disabilities. Your work will specifically support the creation of clear, visual counter-narratives.
Your work will fight the social isolation we seek to tackle by highlighting the joy and connection experienced in our projects. By showcasing these moments, you make our community, its history, and its culture tangible to a wider audience, reducing loneliness and fostering a stronger sense of belonging.
As a leader, you are also empowering other volunteers, helping to create a robust, resilient team that sustains our work. In short, your visual leadership ensures that WIILMA's message of "telling our truth" is seen, heard, and respected.

What will you be doing?
Are you a passionate creative looking to use your skills for social good? WIILMA, is an innovative London-based organisation, seeking a dynamic Volunteer Co-Lead for our Film & Photography Team.
As co-lead you will be responsible for building and developing a creative team.
The team will comprise of roles you determine necessary, such as assistant producers, filmmakers, editors, photographers, a production manager,a production coordinator and assistants.
If you are passionate about social justice, love visual storytelling, and able to coordinate, lead & mentor junior volunteers we want to hear from you. This is a chance to play a key role in shaping how our community tells its own stories.
An opportunity to lead, innovate, and create while fighting for a more inclusive society. As Co-Lead, you will work with a counterpart to lead and mentor a team of talented volunteer creatives.
You won’t just be covering events; you will be telling the stories of people who are often unheard, supporting our advocacy projects to influence a bigger change, showcasing innovative music, arts, and heritage interventions that bring communities together.
