As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and building the platform that powers intelligent automation at scale. This is an opportunity to work on challenging distributed systems, shape technical direction, and build products that deliver measurable value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend and full-stack systems that power AI-driven workflow automation.
• Lead technical design for projects with evolving or ambiguous requirements.
• Build tools that enable customers to create, configure, test, and monitor automated workflows.
• Improve platform reliability through resilient architecture, queue management, observability, and fault recovery.
• Own services throughout their lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready capabilities.
• Help evolve the platform's intelligence by integrating modern AI technologies into real-world workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including systems design, APIs, databases, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
• Ability to translate complex product goals into practical technical solutions.
• Experience taking ownership of services and delivering high-quality software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, or a comparable backend technology stack.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor teammates and contribute to engineering excellence.

Required Skills

• Experience working in regulated industries or complex operational environments.

Pay range and compensation package

• Base salary up to $250,000, plus performance bonus opportunity.
