Specific responsibilities include
Systems & Software Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator for core company platforms including Airtable, Box, ArcGIS, etc.
- Manage user access, permissions, integrations, and configurations across software tools.
- Identify redundancies or gaps in the current software stack and recommend improvements or consolidations.
- Maintain documentation for software systems: how they're structured, how data flows between them, and how to use them.
- Evaluate and onboard new tools as the company's needs evolve – including leading implementation, data migration, and integration with existing systems – and lead team training on new rollouts.
- Implement and maintain data security protocols; formulate and implement data backup strategy.
Workflow Optimization & Automation
- Identify manual, repetitive data or administrative tasks across the company and build automations or streamlined workflows to replace them.
- Use ArcGIS to maintain and improve geospatial databases of project sites, target areas, and priority regions — keeping them current and easy to query.
- Support the development team with data needs related to project due diligence, land tracking, permit preparation, and interconnection research.
- Assist in the creation of standardized templates and processes for recurring tasks such as landowner outreach tracking, permit status updates, and site assessment summaries.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve operational efficiency and data accessibility.
Data Management & Quality Control
- Own the integrity of company data across key software platforms — ensuring records are accurate, complete, consistent, and up to date.
- Build and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and entry protocols across teams.
- Perform regular data audits to identify gaps, duplicates, outdated records, and inconsistencies; lead cleanup and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that give leadership a clear, real-time picture of project pipeline, site inventory, and operational status.
- Serve as the go-to resource for data questions.
