A leading healthcare services organisation is seeking a Senior Healthcare Analyst with clinical (RN preferred) and data analytics experience to support population health, claims analysis, and cost containment initiatives.

This role sits within a healthcare analytics and operations function focused on claims data, pharmacy data, and laboratory data analysis to support network performance, utilisation management, and cost optimisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex healthcare datasets including claims, pharmacy, and lab data to identify utilisation trends and cost drivers
• Develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale healthcare data systems and reporting structures
• Clean, integrate, and validate datasets to support accurate analytics and business intelligence outputs
• Produce and present utilisation, cost containment, and performance reports with actionable recommendations
• Manage timelines and deliverables for analytical reporting and cross-functional projects
• Oversee data quality assurance processes and support peer review of analytical outputs
• Lead or support special projects requested by internal stakeholders and external regulatory or contracting bodies
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting delivery

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience (5–7 preferred) in healthcare analytics, operations, or clinical data environments
• Strong experience working with healthcare claims, clinical, or pharmacy data
• Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills
• Experience with healthcare utilisation, cost containment, or population health analytics
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a regulated environment

Ideal Profile

• Background in healthcare analytics, managed care, insurance, or health services organisations
• Strong Excel and data reporting capability
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, and operations stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills

Salary Range

$54,922 – $107,099 annually (based on experience)
