Business Development Manager — Drone Light Shows

About the role

TVC Events produces drone light shows — fleets of synchronized, illuminated drones that turn the night sky into a canvas for logos, animations, and unforgettable moments. Based in Hallandale Beach, FL, we're a fast-growing startup hiring a driven sales and marketing professional to own new business from first contact to signed contract.

This is a hunter role: you build the pipeline, run the pitch, and close the deal on a genuinely one-of-a-kind product. The role is primarily remote, but occasional on-site work is required — including visiting prospective venues to assess whether a location is suitable and eligible for a show, along with client meetings and live events.

What you'll do

• Own the full B2B sales cycle: prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close.
• Build a pipeline across events and festivals, brands and agencies, cities and venues, and high-end private events.
• Generate leads through cold outreach, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry networking.
• Represent us at trade shows, client meetings, and live shows.
• Conduct occasional on-site visits to prospective venues to assess suitability and eligibility for a show (space, airspace, safety, site conditions).
• Prepare proposals and quotes, and coordinate scope and timing with our production team.
• Contribute to marketing — messaging, campaigns, and sales collateral.
• Keep the CRM current and report on pipeline and forecasts.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience (events, entertainment, experiential marketing, or media a plus) — or a proven closing record that translates.
• A self-starter who thrives in an early-stage startup.
• Strong presentation, communication, and prospecting skills.
• Comfort with a premium, consultative sale and a longer cycle.
• CRM fluency; primarily remote but willing to travel for occasional on-site venue assessments and evening/weekend work around events.
