Role Description

The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Forest Park, GA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and supporting a manufacturing workforce. This position manages recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy development and implementation.

The Human Resources Manager administers compensation and benefits programs, ensures compliance with employment laws and company standards, and maintains accurate HR records and reporting. The role involves coaching leaders on people management, conducting investigations when needed, and supporting training and development initiatives to enhance engagement and retention.

The Human Resources Manager collaborates closely with site leadership and corporate teams to align HR practices with business goals and foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
• Proficiency in HR compliance and operations, such as employment law knowledge, benefits and compensation administration, and HRIS/HR documentation management.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and effectively support leaders and team members at all levels.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with an understanding of workforce planning, safety culture, and hourly/shift-based labor practices.
• Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications (e.g., PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) are an asset.
• Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and use HR software and MS Office tools efficiently.
