Procurement Portfolio Manager

Babcock is looking for a Procurement Portfolio Manager to lead the Procurement team based in Devonport, Auckland .

About The Role

This is a high-impact leadership role driving supply chain planning across a complex, multi-program environment. You will lead strategy, systems, and teams to deliver integrated procurement, inventory, and planning outcomes that directly enable programme success.

With strong executive visibility, you will influence commercial decisions, improve supplier performance, and ensure planning frameworks are scalable, efficient, and aligned to business priorities.

You will shape the future of procurement and supply chain capability within a critical business unit, building high-performing teams and embedding best practice processes. This role offers the opportunity to drive measurable improvements in cost, performance, and supply continuity while mentoring senior professionals and strengthening organisational capability.

About You

You are an experienced supply chain leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments. You bring strong commercial acumen, confidently balancing operational demands with strategic planning. You lead teams with clarity, developing capability while driving performance improvements. You are data-driven, proactive, and able to anticipate risks before they impact delivery.

With excellent stakeholder management skills, you influence across functions and suppliers. You are comfortable implementing scalable systems and continuously improving processes to deliver measurable business outcomes.
