Role: Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2days remote

Core Technical Requirements

The manager said the target profile is

• Backend: Java
• Frontend: Angular (the transcript rendered this as “Angler,” but the intended skill appears to be Angular based on context)
• Database: SQL / Oracle
• AI-assisted development experience
• Experience with:
• application resiliency
• vulnerability management
• end-of-life software management
• CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to independently own development work and deliver quality

Nice-to-Have Skills

The following were described as helpful or preferred, but not core requirements:

• Snowflake
• cloud deployment experience
• AML
• familiarity with data platforms / data lake related work
• messaging tools like Kafka as a plus, but not heavily used today

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The role will include

• maintaining a portfolio of existing applications
• developing new applications as older work is replaced by the newer Java stack
• coding across both front end and back end
• gathering requirements
• managing stakeholders
• working with users for testing
• partnering with cross-functional and technical teams for deployment and go-live
• supporting multiple applications (the manager specifically said the team currently supports six applications)
• multitasking across multiple streams of work
