Allegheny County Treasurer's Office
The IT Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all technology functions within the County Treasurer’s Office, including infrastructure, software, applications, and daily IT operations. This role oversees a team of four (4) IT staff, manages a high volume of complex technology projects, and plays a key role in a major modernization effort to replace and enhance legacy systems.
The position requires hands‑on technical knowledge of infrastructure, familiarity with software or application development practices, and strong project and team leadership skills. The IT Manager ensures that all technology systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with office needs.

This structure requires ongoing coordination and collaboration to ensure departmental goals align with countywide technology policies and modernization efforts.
Our office is also actively working through a significant amount of existing technical debt while modernizing systems, processes, and infrastructure. This role will play a key part in identifying inefficiencies, improving legacy systems, implementing sustainable technology solutions, and helping move the organization toward a more modern, secure, and scalable IT environment
