Role Description The Senior Account Executive – Celebrity, Wine & Spirits is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY. This role manages day-to-day client relations for celebrity and wine & spirits accounts, including developing PR strategies, building narratives, and securing high-impact coverage in lifestyle, entertainment, and trade media.

Responsibilities include drafting press materials, overseeing media outreach, coordinating interviews and appearances, and monitoring coverage to report results and insights to clients. The Senior Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to support brand campaigns, events, partnerships, and product launches, ensuring alignment with client goals.

The role also involves mentoring junior team members, maintaining strong industry relationships, and proactively identifying trends and opportunities that enhance client visibility and sales.

Qualifications

• A passion for media relations. Must have strong relationships with journalists across various verticals.
• Demonstrated expertise in public relations, account management, and media relations within lifestyle, celebrity, or wine & spirits sectors.
• Strong skills in writing, editing, and storytelling, including press releases, pitches, and brand narratives.
• Experience planning and executing PR campaigns, events, and partnerships that drive measurable results.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry partners.
• Proficiency in monitoring media coverage, tracking trends, and using PR/communications tools and platforms.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior agency experience with wine/beverage/alcohol brands. Celebrity brand experience a plus.
