Clinical Trials Operations Manager

The Clinical Trials Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the development, oversight, and execution of clinical operations activities to successfully deliver clinical trials. In this role, you will manage assigned Trial Operations areas and drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence and adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Reporting to the Senior Manager or Associate Director, your responsibilities will emphasize performance metrics, stakeholder engagement, and resource optimization to efficiently execute clinical trial activities in line with regulatory and organizational standards. Potential direct line management responsibilities will also be included, fostering team development and oversight of external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Delivery & Oversight: Execute operational processes following internal policies and compliance standards. Monitor KPIs and metrics to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and enhance workflows for increased efficiency.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and maintain a high standard of quality across operations.
• Project Coordination & Resource Management: Coordinate resources for successful execution of clinical operations activities while tracking progress and managing risks.
• Oversight of External Service Providers: Provide operational oversight for external partners, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Financial Management: Contribute to the clinical operations budget, monitor expenditures, and collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams for accuracy in forecasting and invoicing.

Qualifications / Required

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
