Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist (Brand Ambassador) role based in Cape Town. The Receptionist (Brand Ambassador) will be responsible for welcoming visitors, managing incoming calls, and directing clients and suppliers to the appropriate team members while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.

Day-to-day tasks include handling receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, managing front-desk administrative and clerical tasks, and ensuring the reception area reflects the Shimansky brand at all times. The role also involves providing high-quality customer service, supporting showroom activities, and assisting with basic administrative support for the sales and management teams.

As a brand ambassador, the individual will represent Shimansky’s values, demonstrate product knowledge, and contribute to a premium client experience.

• Strong receptionist and front-desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and Clerical

Skills

• Excellent Phone Etiquette and professional Communication abilities
• Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and brand representation
• Ability to maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor in a luxury retail environment
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced showroom environment and coordinating multiple tasks
• Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or luxury brands is advantageous
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software and booking systems
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
