Senior Business Analyst – Role Scope & Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership & Solution Leadership
- Own the end-to-end business analysis and solution lifecycle from ideation through delivery and post-implementation optimization.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior business leaders, translating enterprise goals into coherent capability roadmaps and solution directions.Provide thought leadership on digital enablement, platform consolidation, automation, and customer experience transformation.
- Advanced Business & Impact Analysis
- Lead complex, ambiguous problem spaces involving multiple systems, stakeholders, and constraints.
- Perform deep impact analysis across processes, data, integrations, risks, compliance, and operating models.Define success metrics, KPIs, and value realization plans to ensure outcomes are measurable and tracked.
- Solution Shaping & Architecture Alignment
- Co-own solution design with enterprise and solution architects, ensuring:
- Scalability, resilience, security, and compliance
- Alignment with enterprise standards and long-term roadmaps
- Evaluate solution options (SaaS, COTS, custom build, integrations) and make clear, defensible recommendations.Identify and manage trade-offs between business value, cost, speed, and technical debt.
- Requirements Excellence & Governance
- Set the gold standard for requirements quality, structure, and traceability.
- Govern epics, features, user stories, and non-functional requirements across initiatives.Own change impact assessments, prioritization decisions, and scope governance.
- Process Transformation & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end process re-engineering initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation, digitization, and simplification.

Champion continuous improvement and reuse of best practices.
- Delivery, Quality & Risk Ownership
- Provide ongoing support to delivery teams throughout the SDLC, proactively resolving ambiguity and risks.
- Define and oversee SIT and UAT strategies, ensuring solutions meet business intent and risk tolerance.Support cutover, go-live readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
- Stakeholder Leadership & Practice Development
- Lead senior stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and expectation management
- Serve as escalation point for complex business or solution issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level Business Analysts, shaping:
- Analysis frameworks
- Templates and standardsCapability uplift across the BA practice
Experience & Background
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Analysis / Solution Analysis roles.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, enterprise or platform-based initiatives.Experience working across digital, loyalty, CRM, customer platforms, data, or integration-heavy environments is highly desirable.
