• This organisation is one of Australia's largest institutional investors, with over $100 billion of assets under management, placing it among the top 10 Australian asset managers.
• It constructs and manages client-centric investment portfolios, working from investment beliefs and comparative advantages developed in close engagement with its clients.

Sitting within the Listed & Unlisted Asset Management team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Listed and Alternative Markets, this role contributes to the organisation's competition for capital, working with the Investment Research & Strategy team to design active Equities, Fixed Income, Credit, Alternatives and Opportunistic exposures.

Responsibilities include manager research across these asset classes, performance analysis of ex-post return outcomes, and collaboration across sectors to support efficient workflow management. The team is also responsible for the selection, engagement and management of fund managers across active asset classes.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years' experience and working knowledge of investment management processes, gained at an asset manager or investment consultant, along with tertiary qualifications. You will have demonstrated experience in risk management and analysis for multi-asset portfolios, and capability in investment research, manager research and portfolio analysis.

Experience applying and interpreting multi-asset risk systems, and a thoughtful application of AI tools in prior roles, are also valued.

You will bring strong relationship management skills, the ability to engage constructively with internal stakeholders and external partners, and excellent written and verbal communication. Strong organisational capability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, with sound judgement and the ability to prioritise competing demands, is essential.
