Hands-On General Accountant in Waterloo

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a General Accountant in Waterloo. This contract-to-permanent role emphasizes full-cycle accounting and offers independence supported by a corporate finance group.

Our client needs a capable General Accountant to manage the entire accounting cycle. Ideal candidates will possess at least two years of full-cycle accounting experience, along with a post-secondary degree or diploma. You will take charge of month-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll for approximately 30 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities and reconciliations
• Process full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Manage cash application and month-end bank reconciliations
• Monitor aged receivables and follow up with customers
• Administer payroll using ADP for 30 employees

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in full-cycle accounting
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting
• ERP system experience required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
• Ability to work independently with multiple priorities
