Technical Project Manager II: *6 YEARS construction project management; project management, process engineering and business process improvement methodologies (Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated parttime equivalent)

Position Information
The TxDOT Austin District is looking for a Technical Project Manager I or II to join our Local Government Office located at our Austin District Headquarters in Austin, TX. This position requires proficiency in transportation engineering work in planning, project development, design, and project management and will be coordinating with multiple subject matter experts, consultants, and different offices within and outside of TxDOT. Work involves coordination with other local agencies, and the public.
The ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the TxDOT project development/management process, Federal Highway Administration requirements, and has great customer service skills.
This position is for ONE (1) Technical Project Manager I or II. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the sole right in determining the level of position based on the applicant's work experience, education, skill level, and all other appropriate factors, and based on business needs.
