Fund Analyst, Private Equity (95K-115K), Only 2 days in office

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Finance Analyst for a PE company to support the financial operations private equity funds. Reporting directly to the VP, Fund Finance, this role is instrumental in ensuring operational excellence across capital management, investment tracking, financial reporting, and investor communications.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic financial initiatives and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations, ensuring timely and accurate execution in accordance with fund strategies and investor expectations.
• Monitor investment performance, calculate fund returns, and provide meaningful analysis to support investment and portfolio decisions.
• Manage the investor portal and serve as a primary contact for investor inquiries, delivering accurate, professional, and timely responses.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing due diligence materials and responding to prospective investor requests.
• Compile and analyze financial data for Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and other investor presentations.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly fund reporting packages, including:
• Fund-level Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
• Investor capital statements
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, management fee analyses, cash flow reporting, and analytical support for audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with investment managers, fund administrators, and custodians to reconcile discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fund finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Fund Administration, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced analytical capabilities.
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality.

1Preferred

• Experience supporting the day-to-day operational management of private equity or alternative investment funds.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data and communicate actionable insights.
• Experience working with investors, fund administrators, or custodians.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a proactive, hands-on approach.
