VP / Director - Middle Market LBO Lending

We are working with a well-capitalised, investor-backed European bank that is continuing to invest in and expand its middle market leveraged lending platform. Having delivered a significant transformation over recent years, the bank has established itself as one of the more ambitious and well-regarded lenders in the European market.

The seat:- Hybrid execution and origination mandate, weighted towards execution- Full deal lifecycle ownership: credit analysis, structuring, documentation and close, alongside sponsor and debt advisor coverageThe profile:- Leveraged finance origination or execution experience at an investment bank, with direct exposure to middle market LBO transactions- Strong credit and modelling skills, able to lead credit papers and IC presentations independently- Candidates from direct lending or private credit platforms seeking a more established, well capitalised base are also strongly encouraged to applyThis is one of the few roles in the market offering genuine origination ownership and full execution involvement at VP/Director level, with a clear path to building a European coverage franchise.
