We are supporting a growing sustainability and engineering team with the hire of an Energy & Engineering Project Manager.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience across energy audits, engineering projects, industrial sites, building services, facilities, utilities, manufacturing, M&E or energy consultancy.

The role will initially be focused around on-site energy audits, ESOS-related work, client site visits and technical reporting. Over time, it will develop into a broader role across carbon reduction strategy, sub-metering projects and low-carbon solution delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out site energy audits across the UK
• Identifying and quantifying energy and carbon reduction opportunities
• Writing up technical reports and recommendations
• Supporting ESOS-related projects
• Managing sub-metering and energy-saving projects
• Working with clients and technical partners
• Supporting wider carbon reduction and net zero initiatives

The team is open on background, but you'll likely suit this if you've worked in one of the following areas:

• Energy auditing
• Energy analysis
• Sustainability consulting
• Building services
• Facilities management
• Utilities
• Manufacturing / industrial environments
• M&E projects
• Refrigeration / HVAC / compressed air / lighting / metering

You don't need to be the finished article. The client has a strong internal training programme and is happy to develop someone who has the right technical mindset, attitude and appetite to progress.

ESOS experience would be great, but it's not essential.

• £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
