Program Office Lead

We've partnered exclusively with a leading Auckland-based financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Programme Office Lead for a major enterprise transformation.

This is a rare opportunity to establish a PMO from the ground up and shape the governance, planning and delivery framework that will underpin a business-critical programme. Working alongside senior executives and programme leaders, you'll build the operating rhythm that keeps multiple workstreams aligned, risks visible, decisions moving and benefits on track.

• What You’ll Bring8–12+ years delivering programmes / transformation across multiple workstreams
• Clear examples of setting up a PMO (ideally greenfields) — not just “reporting”, but designing how the programme runs
• Strong on governance and control: integrated scheduling, dependencies, RAID, decisioning, change control
• Can produce sharp exec-level comms (packs, dashboards, decision papers) without fluff
• Commercially solid, comfortable with benefits realisation, baselines, tracking and accountability
• Confident operator: can challenge, unblock, and escalate early while keeping stakeholders onside
• Financial services experience strongly preferred (regulated sector experience acceptable)
• Toolkit: PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint/Teams + planning tools (MS Project/Smartsheet etc.)
