Product Manager

As Product Manager, you'll be responsible for preparing every product for launch, from compliance testing to packaging to product guides, then build the positioning and brief and oversee the creation of the photography and videography that bring our products to life, communicating their market-leading features and making them the first choice amongst Australian families.

You'll be highly passionate about the baby category and our products, knowing every detail, acting as our in-house product expert across our full portfolio of prams, strollers, baby essentials and accessories.

Candidates must have experience managing physical, consumer-facing products to be shortlisted.

What you'll be doing

• Product-readiness for launch, including compliance testing, product guides, packaging and coordinating user trials and pilot runs
• Product positioning, messaging hierarchy and USPs for every product and launch
• Briefing and execution of all feature/benefit assets end-to-end, including renders, product photography and videography
• Product Detail Page content, from copy to feature sequencing to where renders and video sit on the page
• Reviewing briefs from channel specialists (eDMs, social media, paid creative, events and PR) to confirm product accuracy
• Redsbaby's product review platform end-to-end, including performance reporting and surfacing themes from customer feedback
• SKU and category sales performance reporting, including margin and pricing analysis
• Liaison with offshore suppliers and management of product change notices (ECNs)
• Competitor product research, and identifying new product opportunities and portfolio gaps
• Product-related training for Sales and Customer Care

About you

• 3+ years in a product, product marketing or category role
• Consumer goods experience, preferably in consumer durables or high-involvement, emotionally-driven products
• Strong copywriting skills, confident turning product features into positioning that resonates with parents
• Passion about the baby category and what makes a product worth recommending to a new parent
• Comfortable owning a briefing process and overseeing asset development, including attending photo and video shoots
• Highly analytical; reviewing and reporting on SKU, margin and review data to inform sound decision making
• Organised; tracking multiple product launches and their readiness at once
• Experience with product compliance, testing or supplier liaison is highly regarded
• Experience in a DTC or eCommerce brand is highly regarded

This role sits within our marketing team, reporting directly to our Managing Director and working closely with our Senior Marketing Manager on launch timing and readiness, our Senior Creative Manager on photography and assets, and our broader marketing team of 10 specialists from eCommerce to email/CRM, events, PR, social and paid media to creative and brand.
