Reo Group
Location: Barangaroo, SydneyRole Highlights: This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on Product Manager to take ownership of meaningful technology, data and transformation initiatives within a growing global business.
The role will suit someone who enjoys operating close to the business, translating complex problems into practical delivery plans and driving outcomes across software, workflow, reporting and AI-enabled initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Technology, this Product Manager will play a critical role in driving the organisation's technology, data and AI transformation agenda. Sitting at the intersection of business operations, technology and delivery, you will take ownership of product initiatives that improve operational efficiency, increase data visibility and create scalable business outcomes.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will define priorities, shape roadmaps and ensure technology investments remain aligned to commercial objectives.
This is a highly hands-on role that extends well beyond traditional product ownership. You will partner with business leaders to understand challenges, gather and refine requirements, shape practical solutions and coordinate delivery from concept through to implementation and adoption.
A key focus will be balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day execution, while creating clarity across multiple initiatives, stakeholders and delivery teams operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
The role will be heavily involved in several major transformation programs already underway, including data platform rollout, workflow optimisation, reporting uplift and AI-enabled process improvement.
Working across internal teams, external partners and globally distributed delivery resources, you will be responsible for maintaining momentum, managing dependencies and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value. This is an opportunity to help shape the future product operating model of a growing international organisation while establishing more mature and scalable delivery practices.
You are an experienced Product Manager or Product Owner who has successfully delivered complex technology, data or transformation initiatives from concept through to business adoption. You have genuine ownership experience across product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritisation and delivery, and are comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology.
Rather than simply managing requirements, you have a track record of solving business problems, influencing stakeholders and delivering practical outcomes that create measurable value. You are commercially minded, naturally curious and thrive in environments where priorities evolve and ambiguity is part of the challenge.
You possess exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across executive leaders, operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You are adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and can confidently challenge assumptions, facilitate discussions and align diverse stakeholder groups around common objectives.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams is highly desirable, and you understand how to leverage modern collaboration tools and asynchronous ways of working to maintain delivery momentum across multiple regions and time zones.
Most importantly, you are a hands-on and adaptable professional who enjoys building and improving rather than simply maintaining established processes. You are motivated by creating structure within complexity, identifying opportunities for optimisation and helping organisations become more efficient through technology, data and automation.
Exposure to regulated, data-driven or operationally complex industries such as financial services, insurance, fintech or similar environments would be highly regarded. You will be at your best in a lean, collaborative and outcome-focused culture where ownership, initiative and delivery are valued above hierarchy and bureaucracy.
