About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who’s excited about tackling complex challenges, building scalable systems, and leaving a real mark in a fast-growing tech company. If you love writing clean, elegant code, mentoring others, and collaborating on products that make a difference, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing Lead the technical delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. Design, build, and maintain robust APIs and distributed systems powering products used at scale. Translate business requirements into smart, practical technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.

Take ownership of features end-to-end - from design and prototyping through to deployment and optimisation. Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code while identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Optimise applications, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems for performance, scalability, and reliability across AWS or Azure environments.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to support quality assurance and regression testing. Mentor and support engineers, uplift team capability, and champion engineering best practices. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, QA, designers, stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful outcomes.

Contribute to the long-term engineering roadmap, continuous improvement initiatives, and the evolution of development workflows and processes.

What We're Looking For

• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving ability (degree or equivalent experience). Proven track record building cloud-native applications (AWS/Azure). Proficiency with the MERN stack, RESTful APIs, and modern dev practices.
• Bonus: experience with Golang, Docker, Kubernetes.
• A growth mindset - you’re curious, adaptable, and always pushing boundaries.
