Junior UI Engineer

This Junior UI Engineer position is central to building clean, accessible internal tools that help our partners manage complex portfolios with precision. About the role

As a Junior UI Engineer, you will join a remote engineering team focused on creating logical and intuitive user interfaces. You will work closely with our designers and backend developers to translate financial data into clear visual formats. This is an entry level position where the focus is on mastering the fundamentals of modern web development within a stable, professional environment.

What you will do

• Translate design mockups into functional web components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Assist in maintaining a consistent design system across various client facing applications.
• Write clean, documented code that follows the team logic and established style guidelines.
• Test interfaces for accessibility and performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain high software quality.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve bugs within the frontend stack as they arise.
• Contribute to the documentation of internal libraries and interface patterns.

What we are looking for

Foundational knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue. A clear understanding of semantic HTML and responsive CSS layouts. Curiosity about how users interact with financial data and complex systems. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in a remote environment. Proactive approach to learning new tools and refining your programming craft.

Attention to detail when following design specifications and branding guidelines. Familiarity with version control systems like Git to manage code changes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
