On-site in the Dallas office
The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Build, maintain and present an integrated financial model for the parent company, as well as separate financial models for each of the material companies comprising the integrated model
- Coordinate efforts and work collaboratively with the leaders of each business to develop an understanding of each business’s operations and key revenue and cost drivers
- Review legal documents to translate into financial models
- Support financial analysis of new ventures and/or divestitures
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends and recommending action to management
- Recommend financial alternatives, financing structures and other actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant internship or prior work experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, private equity, transaction advisory, or similar analytical roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; ability to build, maintain, and analyze multi-entity financial models
- Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and valuation concepts
- Ability to analyze business performance drivers and translate qualitative and contractual information into financial assumptions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses and recommendations clearly to management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with business leaders across multiple operating companies
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Certifications, Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required
- MBA recent graduate preferred
