Store Operations Manager - Retail Division

Sharjah Cooperative Society, the UAE's historic consumer cooperative and leading hypermarket operator, is seeking a highly resilient, operationally exceptional Store Operations Manager to join our massive retail division in Sharjah.

You will serve as the primary strategic and floor leader for a high-traffic community hypermarket location, responsible for orchestrating complex FMCG inventory logistics, executing strict profit and loss optimizations, managing massive multi-department workforces, and ensuring absolute adherence to aggressive store turnover targets and municipal food safety mandates.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or formal Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, or a highly related operational field.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven, high-performance experience in high-volume hypermarket management, large-scale FMCG supermarket operations, or high-density retail franchises within the GCC is strictly required.
• Absolute mastery of retail P&L dynamics, perishable wastage mitigation, stock aging analytics, and local municipal regulatory compliance frameworks is mandatory.
• Exceptional leadership, multi-cultural workforce direction, and crisis resolution skills are essential to manage high-pressure daily operations.
• Fluency in English is required; operational proficiency in Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is highly advantageous.
• Physical & Security Criteria: The role requires exceptional physical stamina and psychological resilience for managing high-stress logistics across massive floor layouts and overseeing active team shifts during intense promotional, holiday, and weekend community shopping rushes.
• Candidates must pass rigorous corporate background checks, possess a flawless professional record, and maintain a highly professional leadership appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the comprehensive daily performance of a high-volume branch outlet ensuring maximum commercial efficiency and zero deviation from internal brand protocols; enforce absolute compliance with stock management and freshness guidelines across all departments; manage complex store budgets, dramatically reducing shrinkage bottlenecks to optimize P&L performance; train, mentor, and align an elite frontline retail workforce; and leverage real-time sales dashboards to continuously improve customer retention and store conversion rates.
