Search Marketing Strategist

Temper And Forge is hiring a Growth Marketing Strategist to help lead and scale integrated SEO and paid media campaigns across a growing portfolio of clients ranging from local businesses to enterprise organizations.

This is a hybrid role based in the Seattle area. Candidates must be located in or near Seattle and available for periodic in-person collaboration, strategy sessions, and team meetings.

We are looking for a strategic operator who understands how SEO, paid media, analytics, conversion strategy, and website performance work together to drive measurable business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated SEO and paid media strategies across multiple client accounts
• Lead keyword research, content planning, on-page optimization, and technical SEO recommendations
• Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns including search, remarketing, and Performance Max
• Monitor campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations based on data and business goals
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to improve search visibility and conversion performance
• Support landing page strategy and conversion optimization efforts
• Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and performance summaries
• Participate in client meetings and ongoing marketing strategy discussions
• Monitor analytics, attribution, Search Console, and tracking implementation
• Stay current with evolving SEO, AI search, and paid media trends

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in SEO, paid media, or integrated digital marketing
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, and search strategy
• Experience managing Google Ads campaigns and budgets
• Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to interpret performance data and communicate insights clearly
• Experience working in an agency or multi-client environment preferred
• Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or modern CMS platforms is a plus

• Salary range: $90,000–$110,000 depending on experience
