Position Summary

The Senior Marketing Coordinator supports business development and marketing initiatives under the direction of the Business Development Manager. This role collaborates with engineers, managers, and technical experts to produce high-quality proposals, rosters, award submittals, resumes, and project descriptions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participating in or leading a proposal team responding to RFPs, RFQs, awards submittals, roster applications, etc., including the pre-proposal process.
• Attend pre-proposal meetings, as needed.
• Develop compelling marketing proposals and supporting materials.
• Compile proposal content—including graphics, text, forms, and subconsultant materials—into polished, client-ready packages.
• Create qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions, and award submittals tailored to specific pursuits.
• Support pursuit and presentation activities as required.
• Conduct client research and manage leads to support business development and project teams
• Ensure all marketing deliverables meet Ghirardelli Associates’ high standards for quality.
• Assist in developing and maintaining supplies of marketing collateral and promotional items.
• Contribute to internal communications, including social media content, newsletters, and website updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
• CPSM certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills (both oral and written)
• Strong writing and editing abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Advanced graphic design and document layout skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Superior interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce high quality materials under deadline pressure.
• Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
