The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on and people-focused Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development to support our continued growth and evolution across North America.
This role will be responsible for leading Talent Acquisition for North America while also supporting Learning & Development initiatives in partnership with HRBPs, business leaders, and global HR teams. The position will play an important role in helping Puig attract strong talent, strengthen hiring practices, support employee development, and build manager capability across the organization.
While the direction for many Learning & Development programs will come from Global/HQ, this role will help support the North America rollout, identify local business needs, provide feedback on what is working, and make recommendations on how learning initiatives can be adapted or enhanced for our teams.
This person will work closely with HRBPs, who remain the key partners to the business, to ensure development needs are understood and supported in a practical and consistent way. This position will manage one direct report focused on Talent Acquisition and will help ensure a strong candidate, hiring manager, and employee development experience across North America.
- What You’ll Get to Do: Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution
- Lead the North America Talent Acquisition function across corporate, field, retail, and functional roles, ensuring alignment with business priorities, workforce needs, and long-term talent goals
- Partner closely with HRBPs and business leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, organizational gaps, and critical capability requirements
- Manage and execute full-cycle recruitment for all corporate positions while providing leadership and oversight to the TA Partner responsible for retail and field hiring
- Provide recruitment support and guidance for key, senior-level, or business-critical roles as needed
- Build and maintain strong external talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market mapping, referrals, exploratory conversations, and ongoing candidate engagement
- Strengthen the candidate and hiring manager experience through clear communication, structured processes, timely feedback, and strong expectation management
- Ensure consistent use of recruitment tools, systems, templates, and reporting to support data accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency
- Track and share recruitment reporting, KPIs, and insights, including time-to-fill, pipeline health, candidate experience, offer activity, and hiring trends
- Partner with global and regional teams on talent acquisition initiatives, employer brand efforts, process improvements, and system enhancements
- Provide guidance and coaching to hiring managers on intake meetings, interview best practices, candidate assessment, selection decisions, and inclusive hiring practices
- Manage agency partnerships, search partners, and external recruitment resources as needed
- Learning & Development Support
- Support the rollout and coordination of Learning & Development initiatives for North America in alignment with Global/HQ direction and regional business needs
- Partner with HRBPs to understand learning needs, skill gaps, manager capability needs, and employee development opportunities across the business
- Help translate business and HRBP feedback into practical recommendations for learning priorities, tools, resources, and program enhancements
- Collaborate with global learning teams to support, adapt, and localize learning programs for the North America market where appropriate
- Support the coordination of leadership development, manager capability, onboarding, career development, and functional upskilling programs
- Facilitate or coordinate training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences for employees and people managers as needed
- Help create practical learning tools, guides, templates, and resources that support managers and employees in applying learning in their day-to-day work
- Gather feedback on learning programs, participation, adoption, and business relevance to help assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide insights and suggestions on what a strong Learning & Development approach could look like for North America, while remaining aligned with global direction and HRBP/business needs
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, internal mobility, and career development across the organization
- Talent Management & Employee Development Support
- Partner with HRBPs to support talent review, succession planning, career development, and individual development planning processes
- Help provide structure, tools, and coordination to support stronger talent conversations across the region
- Connect talent acquisition insights with employee development priorities to help strengthen both external and internal talent pipelines
- Support initiatives that improve retention, engagement, internal mobility, and leadership readiness
- Help identify common development themes across teams and provide recommendations for practical learning or manager enablement solutions
- Champion inclusive and equitable talent practices across hiring, development, succession, and advancement
- Process, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate current Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve ways of working
- Develop scalable tools, templates, playbooks, and process documentation to support consistency and efficiency
- Ensure hiring and development practices are compliant, inclusive, and aligned with company policies and employment regulations
- Use data, feedback, and business insights to make recommendations and continuously improve talent processes
- Serve as a trusted partner to HR leadership by bringing forward insights, risks, opportunities, and practical solutions
- Support stronger connectivity between Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and HRBP priorities
- We’d Love to Meet You If You Have: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field preferred7+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HRBP, or a related HR function
- Strong experience managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering with business leaders on strategic hiring needs
- Experience supporting learning programs, manager training, employee development, onboarding, or talent management initiatives
- Prior people management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of recruitment operations, sourcing strategies, structured interviewing, candidate assessment, and hiring manager partnership
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, multi-brand, retail, beauty, fashion, consumer goods, or similarly dynamic environment preferred
- Ability to partner effectively with HRBPs, business leaders, and global teams
- Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use recruiting and learning insights to influence decisions
