Talent Acquisition Specialist

Blue Rock Human Capital is partnering with a fast-growing, acquisition-driven field services organization to hire their first dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist in Raleigh. This is a build-it role. The company has scaled through acquisition and leaned on outside staffing agencies until now. Your job is to bring hiring in-house, cut agency spend, and build pipelines that actually last.

Most of the work is skilled-trades and field recruiting in fire protection and low-voltage/AV construction (foremen, technicians, superintendents, project managers, entry-level helpers), with corporate hiring folded in as the company centralizes HR. A lot of these are evergreen, high-turnover roles, so you're never starting a search from zero.

What You'll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for field and trades roles, plus corporate positions as the function grows
• Build and manage evergreen pipelines for high-turnover field roles
• Cut reliance on outside staffing agencies by bringing sourcing and screening in-house
• Source actively through job boards, direct outreach, referrals, and networking
• Partner with HR and site leaders to scope roles and prioritize hiring across locations
• Write and maintain job descriptions
• Screen candidates and run a lean, two-to-three-step interview process
• Keep candidates and hiring managers aligned from first outreach through offer
• Track recruiting activity and agency-spend reduction for leadership

What You Bring

• 3 to 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, agency or corporate
• Comfort juggling multiple open reqs in a fast-moving environment
• Strong sourcing skills across job boards, outreach, and networking
• Solid ATS experience and willingness to adapt to new systems
• Excellent communication and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and own outcomes
